Will my dealer know that I have installed aftermarket tuning if I return my vehicle to stock first before going to my dealer?
On most vehicles no. Superchips does not leave ghost data or a data footprint. It is highly recommended you return your vehicle to stock prior to going to a dealer for service to avoid any hassles or complications.

Is there a place that I can visit to find out how satisfied your customers are with their Superchips programmers?
Third-part forums can be a valuable tool or you can visit your local MVP Dealer for advice on which Superchips product is right for you. Click here for the location of a dealer near you.

How do i determine if I am purchasing my Superchips product from an authorized dealer?
Many Superchips dealers advertise that they are an authorized dealer. If you are unsure, you can use the dealer search tool on this website to find an authorized dealer near you.

Can I get some feedback on the level of customer satisfaction for a particular dealer before buying from them?
Third party forums can be a valuable tool as well as the Superchips forum available on our website. If you are unhappy with your shopping experience with a particular dealer, please let us know so we can do what we can to make sure you have the best possible experience.

How do I know I am getting the best price on my Superchips product?
Superchips strictly enforces our MVP pricing policy which sets the price on each of our products in the market.

Is there a guarantee that I will be satisfied or that I can get my money back?
Yes. All Superchips products carry a 30-day money back guarantee. The guarantee can be found here.

Why do I have to update my tuner before tuning my vehicle?
We want you to have the most-up-to-date firmware and tunes in your tuner prior to tuning the vehicle so you can enjoy the latest and greatest features.

How often can I change the tuning in my vehicle?
As often as you like.

Can I install other modifications on my vehicle?
Superchips tuners are designed for use on primarily stock vehicles. In many cases, however, the addition of a cold air intake, exhaust system or throttle body spacer will improve performance. If you have further questions on adding hard parts and compatibility with a Superchips product, give us a call at 1 (407) 585-7000. We’ll be happy to answer your questions.

Can I still use my tow-haul button?
Yes, you can use the tow-haul button as normal as it does not affect Superchips tuning while driving under heavy load.

Why don’t you offer tuning for vehicles older than 1999 anymore?
We no longer offer tuning for the older vehicles due to the fact their computers are not as capable or stable as newer vehicles. If you have one of these vehicles, there are many sources that still sell previous generation Superchips products that do support older model vehicles.

Does installing a Superchips tuner void my factory warranty?
No. It is illegal for a dealership to void your warranty based solely on the fact that you have installed an aftermarket product. The dealership must prove in a court of law that an aftermarket product has decisively caused the damage to the vehicle under warranty. As a precaution, always remove the tuning before going to a dealer for service. For information regarding denial of warranty coverage, review the Magnuson-Moss warranty act.

I live in Canada, can I use the programmer all year long or should I remove the tuning in the winter time and return to stock?
You can use the tuning all year round. Temperature does not effect the performance.

Can I program my other vehicle with the same tuner?
Ford and GM Flashpaq and Cortex are capable of tuning more than one vehicle at a time. There is an extra fee to install the capability. While vin-locked to your vehicle update your tuner online and this feature will be displayed in the menu options as a downloadable feature that you can purchase. Please check the on-line store for current pricing.
