PCM Cross Ship is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 150.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cross-ship Success! Not sure what is ever gonna happen when my Jeep goes in for repairs and the dealer determines my ECM is not the original one, but for now this "gently used" ECM they sent me installed easily and programmed flawlessly. I've run the 91 octane power tune and am now running the 87 octane tune for comparison. Very noticeable improvement in throttle response and power-band (4k revs) torque increase. Clearly more power on demand and I have saved some gas on my 72 mile daily commutes (will calculate after next refill)... My taller tires come this Christmas and I expect to bump up highway mileage (roll distance) with a small loss in acceleration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Painless PCM Cross Ship!!! I recently purchased the Superchips Flashpaq F5 for my 2015 JKU Sport Auto trans. I had swapped to a cold air intake, throttle body spacer, and performance exhaust to get some power back. I'm running 285/75/17s on Raceline Raptor wheels. I got a decent amount back with the mods but my speedo was off by 10mph at 60mph so I was actually doing 70mph. Superchips allowed to cross ship my PCM for theirs. No charge for shipping and plenty of time to swap them out and ship my OEM PCM back to them. They made this such a fast, easy, painless process and power/response is better than before. Plus I won't get a ticket for unknowingly speeding!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 24 hour shipping I received my cross shipped PCM in less than 24 hours. Can't believe how fast these guys move. I have a 2017 JKU, with 35's and 3.21 gears. Im still running the stock tune with the speedometer calibrated. I want to baseline MPG before I try the performance tunes. I'm on my 3rd tank of gas since calibration. Averaging ~17 mpg. was getting 13.5 before calibration( still going the same distance, just the speedometer was telling me I was going slower/ less distance than I actually was) Once I finish this tank, and load a performance tune, run a few tanks of gas, then ill give an update. Hopefully I can add a few more MPG.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PCM swap I upgraded my tuner from FlashCal to FlashPaq and wanted to get the most our of my Jeep JKU 2016. The install was very difficult because I was not able to get the connecters removed from the orginal PCM. This is why I only gave this 4 stars. The good news is that the product works flawlessly. I have a buddy who works for Jeep and fixed what I messed up on the connectors and finsihed the install. I am handy and have done most of the work to my jeep myself, which is why I was frustrated I couldn't get this one on my own. However the tech at Jeep wanted an unlocked PCM computer. I told him to get a FlashPaq.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great service and quick delivery I couldnt be more happy as to how easy this was. I purchased a super chips flasqal 5 for my ‘15 model jk. The PCM was locked so the only way to program it was to go thru Superchips and order a unlocked PCM. now u have to have the programmer in ur hand to do this because u need the serial number off of it. so i filled out the form on their web sight, submitted it, and 2 days later I had my unlocked PCM. it didn’t take 15 minutes to swap them out. I reprogrammed my unlocked PCM, changed tire size, changed gear ratio and it was done. I boxed up and sent back my old PCM and it was finished.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love my TrailDash2 The PCM switch out was easy and painless with the cross shipping. My TrailDash 2 is working great. About to add the EAS switch so can control my lockers and sway bar. Only problem I have encountered that hope Superchips will resolve soon is the software is Window only. I run nothing but Macs so was a huge problem and could not use it. Got someone I know who uses PCs to download the software so I could update on his computer. Worry about how will do future software updates or firmware upgrades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super happy with my Superchips TD2 setup Everything about purchasing through installation and setup was made super easy. I bought the unit through 4wp.com in Lynnwood, Wa and the counter guy helped explain the process. I had to send the codes to Superchipsand they would send the new ECM/PCM. Everything worked out like it was explained. I installed the new unit and flashed the tuner prior to installation. I had an off-roading trip planned for the next day. The Traildash2 performed flawlessly, and having the gauges for pitch and roll came in handy. Thanks Superchips, I’m very happy with the purchase.

In the pcm swap do I receive the original pcm that the jeep came with or is the unlocked one the one we keep and just send in our old one? Also if we keep the original pcm what would be the cost for a 2018 jl?

Asked by: Jebb
When you do the swap we send you an unlocked pcm (factory pcm) and you send us the stock pcm as a core. If you prefer to send us your stock pcm that is included into the price on our pcm swap devices

Do I need to do a pcm spaw I have a 2016 jk for a 42050

Asked by: Mstorm94
The 42050 is for 2014 and older Jeep. The 2015+ (42051) will include the pcm swap in the price. Give us a call and we can do an upgrade to turn the 42050 into the 42051 for a small fee

How does an ecm swap work if I wanted to trade for a different Jeep?

Asked by: dadsjp
That would all depend on what kind of jeep you go with. If it is a supported vehicle with the same pcm as your current Jeep we can reprogram the vin/cal for $100 + shipping

If I bought a flashpaq used , how do I get the pcm swap ?

Asked by: TimH
You do not get a pcm swap with a used device. You would have to send us the stock pcm to be unlocked for $200 + shipping. If you purchase a new device a 1 time pcm swap is included in the purchase

Does swapping the ECU void the warranty? Would it help keep the warranty if I swapped the stock ecu back and forth

Asked by: TO Jeep
Swapping out the ECM doesn't void the warranty. What would are any changes made to the software that are directly correlated to the failure should those changes have caused any damage.  Point is, just because you have a different ECM. Anotherwards they can't deny your axle seal leaking because the ECM has nothing to do with it.  If you had an engine problem and the manufacturer could show the changes to the ECM caused the problem, then you would have issues.  Hope that helps.
