Mixed Review
I love my TD2! What it does, it does really well. But, I am equally disappointed with the system as a whole. It is presented as a modular system that can be added on to as you go. HOWEVER, the accessories are not sold as modular components. If you want to stay true to the concept, you are forced to pay exorbitant prices for "starter kits" in order to get a few key components. Remote switching systems are expensive. If you go on a per switch basis, this is one of the most costly.

Great idea.
But the details are missing. No mounting hardware except TY Wraps. A bracket would be nice. No information indicating that for any heavy current draw a RELAY and wiring would be required. It needs to be understood that this device is only a low current switch that works with your TRAIL DASH 2. It does work as intended.
PS the power must be applied to the EAS for the TRAIL DASH 2 to see it on boot up.
I Purchased directly from SUPERCHIPS web store.

Work Great!
Easy to use! Plug and play not plug and pray! Doesn't need any programming than the color and name of the switch on the Traildash. One négative thing. When you power a switch and shutt the engine and remove the key, if you forget to turn off your device it will remain on. and could drain your battery. A little programming from Superchip would be welcome on this, some king of timer that would turn off all the switch after 5 minutes or something.

Excellent!
works as advertised, I love the features on the TD2 especially when I don't have to cut holes in the dash to install switches or rocker switch panels or extensive s-pod to control lights or accessories in my Jeep. I have Deegan 38 rock sliders with rock lights and some led backup lights from my smittybilt XRC rear bumper added to the EAS Power switch digital rocker switches and love it, thank you superchips for your awesome products especially for future expandability, its a real game changer!

Can’t make it work
I bought this because it is a great idea to use existing technology for new accessories. I just can’t get my Traildash2 to recognize that the EAS is connected. I made the connections as shown in the install guide but when I go into the TD2, I don’t see any options for the rocker switches. Am I missing something?

Very simple, and yet very high tech.
Extremely easy installation, connected to my lights, improved my gas mileage, and corrected my speedometer to my tire size. Totally awesome and worth every penny.

Question for use on Sport models. Can the locker and sway bar buttons (Rubicon only stuff) on the Crawl screen be reprogrammed to use EAS switch modules to activate aftermarket lockers or are those dead buttons for us?
Asked by: Tinker Toy Jeep
Right now, those buttons would remain 'dead' as you mentioned, but EAS switches can be placed in any of the current PID places and our graphics team is working on the development of a screen layout similar to the Crawl screen for your exact application.

Regarding the universal sensor input - Are the parameters programmable? Would like to use it on a 0-5v sensor reading 0-1500psi and a second 0-5v sensor reading 0-200psi. (CO2 problems)
Asked by: Tinker Toy Jeep
Thank you, Jacob W. Glad to know that I'll be able to make that work. I can get the 0-1500psi sensor from my day job.

I have the TD2 I would like to connect my front Light bar and rear spots. They both have relay switches and I notice that the accessory pack does not have. Is it necessary to run the relays with the set up??
Asked by: SEJ1964
Just a switch. You would use this to trigger a relay

I have a trail dash two and I want to add switches now. To effectively run 8 digital rocker switches I need to purchase EAS kits? From what I understand you cannot purchase the EAS without buying the starter kit... so I will have 3 extra cables.
Asked by: Teras
Yes the powerswitch comes with a starter cable

I want to set up my Trail Dash 2 to turn on the headlights as daytime driving lights on my 2008 JKU. Do I need the EAS powerswitch to do this?
Asked by: bulldogdude
NO. Using the TD2 you can select if you want DRLs and which lights will be used for DRLs. I had my Fog Lights as DRLs I switched them to the headlights, but liked the Fog Lights better so I switched them back. super easy with the TD2.
