Amp'D Throttle Booster with Power Switch for 2007-2018 Jeep® JK Gas is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely a HUGE improvement! I was really weary of the stock throttle response on my 2016 Rubicon Automatic. I installed this module and WOW! what a difference. Let me tell you how I installed it. I took off the top of my dash and pulled the radio out just a little and threaded the cables down the left side of the dash to the throttle controller and after programming, I velcro'd the module to the left side of my radio. This makes it so I don't have to zip tie any wires out of the way and the wiring harness stays hidden. I then had an area on my lower knee panel below the steering column that I cut out and put in the selector switch and used Sugru on the back side to secure it. Looks and works really well. The most difficult part was unplugging the original harness from the stock throttle controller. I run the Jeep mostly in 100% over stock but 400% is really nice for highway traveling. I also like that you can switch the settings as you're driving and you can immediately tell the difference between each of the settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Upgrade to my JK I had already got Superchips in my vehicle so I thought this product wouldn't increase performance. I installed my Amp'd Throttle Booster and the responsiveness was amazing. So easy to install.

Is this designed to work with Supercharged motors only, or will it also help a stock gas motor responsiveness with out a turbo?

    Asked by: Swedge
This will work on both. The Ampd throttle booster does not tune the engine. This is strictly for throttle response only

I have the F5 Jeep Flashpaq and it worked great for tire and gear changes. I also use the 93 octane performance setting which really helped power output and gas mileage. Can I use the Amp'D with this and what will it do to improve power output and where.

    Asked by: Big T
Yes you can use these together. The AMPD will not add power. That is only throttle sensitivity/response. The added power will come from the Flashpaq
